Welcome to Lilli's Painted Trees

Hey, friends! My name is Brandi and I'm the painter and owner of LPT, my very small artwork business that is rapidly growing. I've decided to make a blog showing and selling my work and here it is. First of all I'd like to say thank you for visiting and for ordering. You're what keeps this business of sorts growing and going!

Ornaments are a GREAT Christmas gift; who doesn't love a good old fashioned ornament exchange party? However, we always want "the best" one at the party to be ours, don't we. What better way to do that than to order an original! They also make great gifts for teachers, classmates, friends, bosses, secretaries...the list goes on! I feel the same way about canvases; what better way to tell someone "Happy Birthday" or "You're a great teacher" than with a canvas! The possibilities are endless!

Before you get started browsing, I do have some info and rules I go by and I'll share them with you here.

*ORNAMENT SIZES: First, all of my ornaments are glass so yes, they will shatter. FRAGILE is, in essence, written all over them. They come in two sizes: 3 1/4 inches or 4 inches. 4 inch balls are $2.00 more. The bows, however, can be as big as you want.
*CANVAS SIZES: My canvases come in all sizes. So far I've done from 5x7 to 24x36; this doesn't include the larger pieces that are almost bigger than me!
*PRICING: Pricing is determined by 3 major factors: size, level of difficulty and the time it takes me to complete the project. The last two factors usually go hand in hand. Ornament prices are set; they range from $15.00 to $22.00 and no single ornament will ever be priced over the $22.00 mark. Please read the addendum under each category for detailed pricing on ornaments AND canvases.
*PAYMENT: For the canvases and ornaments, I accept prepay only. This is due to the materials that need to be bought for the project you've ordered and it will insure that you get your piece in a timely manner. (Sooner rather than later. :))
*PAYMENT POLICIES: I accept cash, check or you can pay through PayPal. I'll have a link to the side. I also have a check policy; there is a $50.00 fee for all returned checks plus the cost of the order. I do this for my safety as well as yours. If you decide to forgo your order should your check bounce, this is fine, but you will still be expected to pay the $50.00 fee.
*SHIPPING/HANDLING: Shipping and handling usually doesn't cost more than $5.00, but this will all depend on WHAT you order and HOW MUCH you order. I also add insurance should anything happen to the package during the delivery process.
*RETURN POLICIES: Any and all orders are final after delivery. There will be NO refunds or exchanges given for personalized ornaments.
*HOW TO ORDER: Please send orders and requests to the email provided to the side,

If you have ANY questions at all please feel free to email me at the address provided. I'll be happy to help you in any way I can. We'll also be able to communicate this way and work out any ideas you may have for an ornament or canvas. Remember, you can have any design you like-the more original the better! I look forward to hearing from you and working with you!

Miscellaneous 3

~Peacock (4" only): $25.00
*The peacock is available in whatever colors you choose; this one is classic peacock painted a turquoise base color with peacock design. The head and eye feathers as well as the beak are painted with a pearl color. The bow is hunter green with lime green swirls and gold trim. I took pics with and without flash, as always (this was before my NEW camera!) due to glare, however, the truest color is what you see in the pics WITH the flash.

A Christmas Carol

*A Christmas Carol/Scrooge ornaments: $18.00 and Up

~ACT (Artistic Civic Theater) performs Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol every year; it's a Christmas staple in Dalton. This year they decided to have a "shop" of sorts in the lobby of the theater and they called me to see if I'd like to sell some ornaments. Um, TOTALLY! Here's what I've done so far for them.

To capture Scrooge's fear I concentrated on his eyes.

Terrified little man waiting on ghosts to appear....
Most of the play takes place in Scrooge's bedroom, in his bed, surrounded by those infamous canopy curtains...hence the ribbon I used.

At first I didn't know how to fit all of the little guy's face on the ball. Then my husband suggested I paint him pulling the comforter over his face: a classic for Scrooge's many bedroom scenes.
My super cool font I found and revamped.

The Ghost of Christmas Present was the next request from ACT. I just happened to find a photo of the man who portrayed the character in the production and followed his costuming. He's jolly, just like the character. This particular one has a white beard instead of the usual red, but if you wanted a red beard I could do that instead. Tiny Tim will be posted soon!

Monograms: $30.00 and Up

~As with other canvases, pricing depends on size of canvas (or mural), detail and time. Some fonts are easier than others therefore will be priced lower than more detailed and ornate fonts.
~Whatever font you find I can replicate onto a surface.

*First is the Reed Monogram. This customer chose a 24x30 canvas to be painted in a very soft, pale peachy-pink with an ivory monogram outlined in gold.  She plans to hang it above her baby's crib. She wanted a very classic antique looking font so we dug all through Google and found this one. I have the entire alphabet saved for future use.
